Lake Minden RV
Beautiful Lake Minden is located in the grassy plains of the Sacramento Valley. The private 41-acre lake circled by eucalyptus trees offer great fishing and boating adventure. The atmosphere is relaxing, the staff is friendly and helpful and there is something for everyone. The preserve is centrally located to several major cities and is a quick getaway as well as a convenient stop-over on the main North-South traveled highways 99 and 70. The area offers many local attractions and things to do. Cal Expo (State Fair), Arco Arena (home of the Kings basketball team) and Sleeptrain Ampitheatre are 20 minutes from the preserve. All three offer a large variety of entertainment from sports, such as basketball, motocross, Monster trucks, to concerts, seminars and horse racing, as well as many other amusements. Old Sacramento is also close by
and offers the Railroad museum and other nostalgic and historic sites as well as shopping and several eateries. Old Sacramento also hosts the annual Jazz festival which is a huge event every year. The Yuba-Sutter area offers many festivals such as the Bok Kai, Peach & Prune festivals and the Marysville Stampede Rodeo. In Lincoln folks may tour the Feats of Clay pottery works or visit the Thunder Valley Casino. Roseville offers Denios Farmer’s Market and Auction as well a many shopping malls and restaurants.
Lake Minden’s guests come from all over the United States and Canada with some coming from Hawaii and even Europe and South Africa. The typical length of stay here is 2-3 weeks. Although we are open year round the busy time for us is usually from April through October. The lake is brimming with stocked channel catfish and largemouth bass and fishing is a year-round pastime here. We offer a safe, secure and clean environment with 24 hour security. Among our many amenities are free Wifi, miniature golf and sports courts, including tennis, pickle ball, basketball, volleyball, baseball and soccer, as well as a 300-yard golf driving range. Lake Minden also offers two swimming beach areas and canoes, paddleboats and kayaks for your pleasure. If you are into fitness or bird watching we have nature walking trails and an abundance of wildlife to see. Those who are looking for a place to have a reunion, company picnic or meeting will find facilities for all. We have picnic areas, a banquet room and party tent or pavilion available for group bookings. Need a place to store your RV? We have plenty of storage area to suit your needs. The Country Store & gift shop is open year round for your shopping needs or if you're hungry we offer breakfast and lunch menus (limited hours).
