Canoeing & Row Boats
Spend an afternoon with your family on the Schroon River. Go for a joy ride, relax in the sun, or go fishing. You can rent a canoe or a row boat for a few hours or take it for the whole day.
One of the largest tributaries of the Hudson River flowing from the east, the stretch of the River near the Lake George Escape waterfront provides flatwater boating or canoeing. The flatwater stretch extends north for over 8 miles and includes some of the most beautiful scenery you will find anywhere. Bring your camera, binoculars and the whole family and explore our little bit of paradise.

Lake George Escape has made special arrangements with local White Water Rafting Compaines to offer special rates to Lake George Escape Guests! Purchase the discount ticket vouchers at the Lake George Escape store and drive your own car to their location.
Experience the wild waters on a hour long ride down the Sacandaga River. Sacandaga River Trips are every day at 10AM, 12PM, & 2PM !
Or an All Day Rafting Trip on the Hudson River through the Magnificent Hudson River Gorge. Hudson River trips are every Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday!

The Honeybear Express
All aboard! Bring your family and friends for a ride on the Honeybear Express. The train runs daily, in season, from 11:00am to 12:40pm and from 4:30pm to 6:10pm. It departs from the Honeybear Mining Company Depot. Its a great way to see the park. Listen for the bell as it makes the rounds.
