60 or 70 feet just a few yards offshore.
At Hidden Cove, you can enjoy the large, lakefront clubhouse with a recreation room, dining room, and television lounge. There are plenty of places to explore along our ¾-mile shoreline, and our winding roads are perfect for a leisurely walk or bike ride. We have a small lending library of movies and books, and we also provide mini-golf, horseshoes, croquet, volleyball, basketball, and other recreational equipment at no additional charge.
Or you could just sit back and take in the gorgeous lake view from your campsite. You can also have a picnic, or simply relax on the observation deck overlooking the lake.
In-season weekend activities include breakfast at the clubhouse, crafts for the kids, ice-cream socials, and campfire gatherings with S’mores. We also have bingo and board game nights, movie nights, pot-luck dinners, and other fun games and activities.
There are many local attractions and points of interest in the area. Don’t miss Ave Maria Grotto, Clarkson Covered Bridge, Natural Bridge, or the Cullman Flea Market, just to name a few.
Named to the National Register of Historic Places, and located in Cullman, Alabama, the Ave Maria Grotto was built by Brother Joseph Zoettle over a period of 40 years on the grounds of Alabama's first and only Benedictine Abbey. The 3-acre site consists of more than 125 miniature reproductions of famous churches, shrines and buildings.
Natural Bridge Park, in Winston County, includes picnic accommodations, an Artesian well which supplies drinking fountains, and a gift shop featuring hand-crafted items. The Natural Bridge formation is 60 ft (18.3 m) high, 148 feet (45 m) long, and composed of sandstone and iron ore. It is known as the longest natural bridge east of the Rockies, and is said to date back 200 million years.
